The Film Team is headed to Vancouver Canada to check in with Dr Michael Hayden and finish filming his story. This is an exciting trip not only because we get to spend time with this amazing man, whom is on the forefront of Huntington's research, but also because this is our last shoot for the documentary. After this trip we will officially be in Post Production!

This will be a great follow up from Tadd's trip with Michael to South Africa. It will be nice to have the team together to learn more of Dr. Hayden's story from his lab, his family and his home in Vancouver. Dr. Hayden is also allowing us access to a home where many HD patients live. We are grateful to the families and people there that are letting us come learn more about living with Huntington's Disease. All of these images and stories will be powerful tools to share with our audience.

Tadd is currently in Cape Town, South Africa filming with the amazing researcher Michael Hayden. To say Michael has been working hard to find an end to Huntington's disease would be an understatement. Fighting this disease is his life. This brings all our other stories together by showing us the latest on research for HD. Thanks to people like Michael and the Huntington's community we are making strides in getting closer and closer to an end for HD. Michael Hayden lives in Vancouver, BC but is currently visiting his hometown, Cape Town. Tadd and camera tagged along to capture some of Michael's original families affected by Huntington's.

Spring, 2010 Trey Gray
The Film team came together for a great road trip with Trey Gray and Brooks and Dunn. Trey is the drummer for Brooks and Dunn and it was an honor to get to know Trey and his friends on the road. Trey tested gene positive for HD. With this news he kept kicking butt playing the drums while raising awareness for Huntington's. Honest and open he became a great friend that gave us his amazing story. Thank you Trey.

Kate Bayley and Tadd Sackville-West are headed to Phoenix, AZ to attend this years HDSA convention. The entire film team was able to go last year and it was an incredible and powerful experience. They are excited to see friends from last year and to make new ones.

They are also excited to show everyone a new piece of the documentary. There is a sense of community at this convention that is like no other. Understanding and love seem to flow from the convention rooms to the dance party and Gala. One big family fighting together for understanding and an end to HD. We are proud to be a part of such a strong group of people.

Part of the documentary team, Tadd Sackville-West and Kate Bayley just returned from filming in Tanzania, Africa. They were part of a group of 13 that successfully made it to the summit of Mnt. Kilimanjaro. Courtney Blethen and her friend Erika were the inspiration for this trip. Courtney tested gene positive to huntington's after losing her father to the disease. She and Erika decided they weren't going to let test results stop her, they set a goal to raise money for research to help stop Huntington's Disease. Check out their climb site at www.klimbforthekure.com.

Tadd filmed for the documentary telling the story of how a small group of people can come together to make a difference. Many of the climbers are directly affected by huntingtons.
